Pre-launch policy
Privacy Policy
Prepared 11 September 2026 · Effective when the public service launches
This policy explains how Journal Quality & Compliance handles information submitted for an independent journal readiness review.
Information we collect
We collect the contact details, journal title, website, ISSN, publisher information, policy links and notes submitted with a request. We also create service records, retained public evidence, review decisions and deliverable files.
How we use it
We use this information to assess the request, perform the agreed review, prepare and deliver the report and workbook, provide the included re-check, maintain service records and respond to support or legal obligations.
Public-source evidence
The review uses publicly available journal pages and bibliographic sources. A dated copy or reference may be retained so findings can be checked later. Public information is not treated as confidential merely because it appears in a submitted request.
Sharing and service providers
Information is shared only with providers needed to host, secure and operate the service, or when required by law. We do not sell client information. Submitted material is not published as a case study without separate permission.
Retention
Request records, retained evidence and deliverables are normally kept for up to 12 months after final delivery, then deleted or anonymised. Billing and legal records may be retained longer where required by law.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied, subject to legal and operational requirements. Until the public service email is approved, contact us by replying to your quotation or order confirmation.
